Roofing, Remodeling & Restoration in Nowthen, MN
Nowthen homes sit on acreage, with open fields, tree lines, and wide-open exposure to Minnesota wind and hail. Hanson Variety Solutions is a licensed and insured contractor based right next door in Oak Grove, handling roofing, storm damage repair, and remodeling for Nowthen homeowners.
Nowthen was Burns Township until it became a city in 2008, and it has worked to keep its rural character ever since — large lots, lots of trees, and homes set back from the road. That space is a big part of living here, and it also means roofs and siding take storms head-on, with few neighboring buildings or trees to break the wind. We replace and repair roofs, rebuild after storm and water damage, and handle the remodeling and repair projects that come with owning a home on acreage.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you work on homes out in the country, not just in town?
Yes. Much of our work is on rural and acreage properties across northern Anoka County, including Nowthen.
How do I know if my roof has hail or wind damage?
Some damage is easy to spot, like missing shingles or dented gutters, and some isn't visible from the ground. Reach out and we'll schedule a visit to inspect the roof, document what we find, and walk you through your options.
Do I need a permit for my project?
Permit requirements vary by city and project, so it depends on the work you're planning. We'll let you know what applies once we've scoped out the job.
